Rose is on a 10-day tour of Europe to promote his adidas line of shoes and clothing, the first of two international tours for the shoe company.
Rose, who missed the entire 2012-13 NBA season as he recovered from surgery to repair his torn ACL in his left knee, kicked off his European working vacation at adidas headquarters in Herzogenaurach, Germany, on July 5 and then jetted to Milan, Italy, to meet and greet with his international fans, and according to one picture, play pingpong with a personalized paddle.
He'll be in Europe through July 15 with stops in London, Paris, Madrid, Belgrade, Serbia, and Zagreb, Croatia.
Bulls coach Tom Thibodeau told ESPN Chicago in June that he would likely travel to Los Angeles, where Rose works out in the offseason, to meet with his point guard after his European tour.
Then Rose goes to Asia Sept. 4-16, where he'll visit Tokyo, Manila, and four cities in China.
Not to worry Chicagoans, Rose will make an appearance in Chicago, too. An adidas press release noted Rose's worldwide tour "will culminate with a late September event in Chicago."
At last year's adidas press event, the unveiling of the D-Rose 3s and his clothing line, Rose cried on stage as he talked about the good fortune of his life, but didn't take questions from the media about his knee.
