CHARLOTTE. -- Let's take a quick look at how the Chicago Bulls earned a 101-84 win over the Charlotte Bobcats on Wednesday night at the Time Warner Cable Arena.
How it happened: Derrick Rose had 20 points, six assists and four rebounds to lead the Bulls to their fourth straight win. The Bulls' bench played a huge role again playing solid all night. Kyle Korver had 20 points while Taj Gibson finished with 14 as the Bulls overwhelmed the Bobcats in the fourth quarter.
What it means: The Bulls shut down the Bobcats in the fourth, but it won't mean much if they lose Carlos Boozer for any length of time. The power forward went down midway through the fourth after Kwame Brown flagrantly fouled him. Boozer appeared to hurt his left knee/ankle and walked gingerly to the locker room. If he is lost for a while, Gibson will have to step up in a big way again.
Stat of the night: The Bulls outscored the Bobcats 26-15 in the fourth. The Bulls bench outscored the Bobcats bench 51-35.
What's next: The Bulls hit the practice floor Thursday in advance of a home back-to-back on Friday and Saturday against the Atlanta Hawks and Utah Jazz.
