CHICAGO -- In their quest to find a veteran point guard, the Chicago Bulls have been in contact with Derek Fisher, and they've also contacted shooting guard Brandon Roy, according to sources with knowledge of the situation.

ORLANDO, Fla. -- Everybody has a different opinion as to what the Chicago Bulls should do with their last roster spot.

Some say they should go after an extra big man as an insurance policy on Joakim Noah and Omer Asik. Some say with all the injuries to Derrick Rose and C.J. Watson they should go after an extra guard.

ESPN.com's Marc Stein reported Monday that Derek Fisher's first choice is to come to the Bulls. Rose said before Monday's game against the Orlando Magic that if that were to happen, the Bulls would be happy, but Rose reiterated what he's been saying all year -- the Bulls don't need to add anyone because they already feel as if they can win a title.

"D-Fish definitely could help our team," Rose said. "But like I said, it's not up to me. It's up to the front office to make that call. If he comes, we'll welcome him with open arms, but we don't know right now."
