Hamilton, who wears a facemask because of past injuries along with a headband, said both were coming with him to Chicago.
"Everything. Head band, mask, that's my look," Hamilton said after his first Bulls practice on Thursday. "That's like my cape. I can't live without it. I can't play without it. That's my twist."
Hamilton said he had "no idea" that the Bulls initially wouldn't let Wallace wear a headband and Bulls GM Gar Forman said the issue has not come up yet.
"I don't have an answer for right now," Forman said. "We haven't allowed headbands. I don't know if with the mask that's required and where he is with the mask [a headband is also necessary]. That's something we'll look into."
Former Bulls coach Scott Skiles eventually allowed Wallace to wear the headband after Wallace defied the team rules. Current coach Tom Thibodeau said he did not have a problem with players wearing headbands.
"The past is the past. This is now," Thibodeau said. "I'm comfortable with the mask. If it helps him shoot, whatever he needs, I'm all for it. All I know is what he showed today, he's very disciplined. That's what I'm concerned with."
