Corbin, Davie invited to all-star game

Northwestern senior defensive tackle Corbin Bryant and senior linebacker Quentin Davie will have another chance to impress NFL scouts after being invited Tuesday to the NFL Players Association All-Star Game.

The game will be held on Saturday, Feb. 5 in San Antonio. Bryant and Davie will play for the Nation team, which will be coached by Jerry Glanville, and will face the Texas team, which will be coached by Bill Bates, the father of Northwestern defensive back Hunter Bates.

Bryant, who is 6-foot-4 and 283 pounds, had 25 tackles and 8.5 tackles for a loss this season. He is ranked the No. 27 senior defensive tackle by ESPN.

Davie, who is 6-foot-4 and 230 pounds, finished with 71 tackles, 1.5 sacks and three interceptions on the year. He is ranked the No. 22 senior outside linebacker by ESPN.
