DePaul improves to 2-0 on France trip

DePaul sophomores Brandon Young and Cleveland Melvin combined for 51 points to lead the Blue Demons to a 90-80 win over Toulouges in France on Wednesday.

Melvin, the 2010 Big East Rookie of the Year, has been dominant in both of DePaul’s games in France. He scored 25 points, grabbed 13 rebounds and blocked four shots in Wednesday’s win. He also had 25 points in DePaul’s previous game.

Young scored a team-high 26 points and added six assists, three steals and three rebounds.

DePaul’s Jeremiah Kelly (14 points, four assists, four steals), Moses Morgan (10 points, seven rebounds) and Montray Clemons (10 rebounds) contributed in the win.

The Blue Demons improved to 2-0 on their trip with the win. They will play again on Friday.
