Cubs expect Garza to be out until Monday

PITTSBURGH -- With his wife expecting, Chicago Cubs starter Matt Garza is scheduled to head back to Chicago ahead of the team and will probably not be ready to pitch again until Monday.

With the non-waiver trade deadline at 3 p.m. Tuesday, there isn’t much time for a team interested in trading for Garza to see him pitch, be comfortable that he is healthy again and put a trade together.
