Castro wants to be Cub for life

CINCINNATI -- Showing he prefers honesty to negotiating ploys, Chicago Cubs shortstop Starlin Castro said Friday that he wants to remain with his current team for life.

News broke Thursday that the Cubs and Castro's agent, Paul Kinzer, have been working on a contract extension that could be as long as six years and take Castro beyond his initial free-agent years.
