Cubs call up RHP Miguel Socolovich

The Chicago Cubs recalled right-handed pitcher Miguel Socolovich from Triple-A Iowa before Sunday’s game against the San Francisco Giants.
Socolovich, 26, was claimed off waivers from Baltimore on Aug. 23. He combined to go 4-0 with two saves and a 2.11 ERA in 31 relief appearances between Triple-A Norfolk and Iowa.
