Samardzija to make 1 more start

Jeff Samardzija, the Chicago Cubs' de facto No. 1 starter the past two months, will make his final start of the season on Saturday against the Pirates. Manger Dale Sveum said prior to Friday's game that the team's decision to shut down Samardzija was a precautionary measure.
