Barney's error snaps record-tying streak

Chicago Cubs second baseman Darwin Barney committed an error on Friday on a bouncer up the middle by the Arizona Diamondbacks' Justin Upton, snapping Barney's streak at an MLB-record-tying 141 games.

Barney had tied Placido Polanco's record for consecutive games played at second base without an error on Thursday.
