Chicago Cubs shortstop Starlin Castro said Thursday he feels better after suffering hamstring tightness the day before while running to first base in a Cactus League game against the Los Angeles Dodgers.

"I feel better today," Castro said. "It will probably be two or three days before I'm playing."

Castro was running out a ground ball Wednesday when he grabbed his leg.

"He is fine," manager Dale Sveum said. "It will be two or three days, but basically it is about as minimal (as it can be ). It is more tightness. I don’'t think there is any pull or anything like that.

"“No tests as of this morning. It was very minor."
