The series

Interleague play: The Cubs will host an American League team for the first time this season. They swept the White Sox in a four-game set last season en route to a 13-7 interleague record. The Cubs are 0-2 this season in interleague play, having been swept in New York by the Yankees.

Who's Hot/Who's Not: Anthony Rizzo began May the way he ended April: hot. He was 4-for-10 over the weekend with two home runs and three walks. Rizzo is hitting lefties better than righties, starting the season 11-for-33 against southpaws. Rizzo was 1-for-3 against the lefty Quintana last season. Mike Olt is hitless in his last 12 at-bats over five games as his batting average has dropped to .156.
