It's down to the Chicago Cubs and Washington Nationals for the services of reliever Matt Capps. According to major league sources, the Capps' camp will make a choice between the two teams by Wednesday night.

Cubs fans will know soon if Matt Capps will join their bullpen.
It is known Washington already has a two-year offer on the table.
When the Cubs make their offer, Capps will decide whether to become the Nationals' closer or the Cubs' set-up man.
It appears the former Pirates closer will receive $8 million for two years. Capps saved 27 of 32 games for Pittsburgh in 2009.
The Pirates non-tendered Capps on Dec. 12. Upwards of 14 teams converged with agent Paul Kinzer about Capps' availability over the last 10 days.
