Here’s a quick look at the Cubs’ 11-4 win over the Giants.

The good: Ryan Dempster had his third straight strong outing, striking out 11 in six innings. The Cubs’ offense posted double-digit hits for the third time in four games. The daily double of Starlin Castro and Darwin Barney combined went 6-for-10 with four runs scored and five RBIs. Outfielder Reed Johnson made another spectacular catch, the type of Cubs fans have come to expect.

The bad: Nothing to report today.

Outside the box: Third baseman Aramis Ramirez will return after one day in the Dominican Republic to take care of personal business. Randy Wells is slated to make his first rehab start at Single-A Peoria on Tuesday. It will mark his first pitching competition since injuring his forearm on April 4.

Next: Doug Davis will make his Cubs debut against the Giants’ Ryan Vogelsong.
