Cubs GM taking dog to spring training

Chicago Cubs general manager Jed Hoyer is driving to spring training this year, and he chose a traveling companion who won't be hounding him with suggestions on how to end a World Series drought.
"I love my dog too much, apparently," Hoyer said Thursday on "The Carmen, Jurko & Harry Show" on ESPN 1000. "I'm going to take the slow route, take about four days.
