PHOENIX -- Before Saturday’s game the Cubs cleared out a little more space in the major league locker room by assigning two more players to minor league camp.

Right-hander Dae-Eun Rhee and catcher Micah Gibbs were sent back to the club’s minor-league facility at Fitch Park.

The Cubs have now assigned six players to minor league camp in two separate moves, bringing their spring roster to 57 players: 27 pitchers, six catchers, 14 infielders and 10 outfielders.
