Podcast: Theriot on Lou and Cubs' woes
Ryan Theriot said team chemistry was a big reason the Cubs have been successful -- and unsuccessful.
Former Chicago Cubs infielder Ryan Theriot joined "The Waddle & Silvy Show" in one of the more entertaining spots with a professional athlete.
Theriot did a great Lou Piniella impression while describing the moment he knew his days with the Cubs were numbered. It was after he couldn't lay down a bunt, and he sat close to Piniella, who ripped Theriot to bench coach Alan Trammell.
Theriot discusses how he thinks taking the Cubs to arbitration sealed his fate.
He also was hilarious in describing Mike Fontenot's good fortune.
