MESA, Ariz. -- The Cubs have scheduled intrasquad games for Friday and Saturday that will be open to the public and free of charge.

The games, which will last no longer than six innings, will be played at HoHoKam Stadium and used as preparation for the start of the Cactus League schedule on Sunday against the Oakland Athletics.

Gates are scheduled to open at 11 a.m. with the start time scheduled for 1 p.m. Fans will be restricted to the seating areas and not be allowed onto the grassy area beyond the outfield wall.
