Sveum not comfortable as marketing focus

MESA, Ariz. -- When Dale Sveum does get back to Chicago and runs into one of those billboards with his face on it, he probably will look the other way.
The new Chicago Cubs manager was asked about the advertisements that are starting to pop up all over town and he practically cringed, saying he’s “not really” at ease with it.
“You appreciate it or whatever but I’ve never had my picture on a billboard,” Sveum said. “I’m not exactly the most fashionable guy or somebody that is going to smile or take pictures very well all the time. But I heard it’s OK. I’m not real comfortable with it, put it that way.”
