Simeon ranks No. 9 in nation

Simeon finished the season No. 9 in ESPN RISE’S final POWERADE FAB 50 boys basketball national rankings on Tuesday.

The Wolverines moved up two spots from last week’s ranking. Simeon (30-2) won its second consecutive Illinois Class 4A state championship last month.

Simeon was the lone Illinois team ranked in the final poll.
