  • Matt Micucci, Stevenson QB: Micucci was 20-of-32 passing for 247 yards and two touchdowns and kicked a 28-yard field goal in Stevenson’s upset win over top-ranked Maine South in the Class 8A playoffs.

  • Jaime Jones, Lyons RB: Jones rushed for 158 yards and five touchdowns, including the game-winner, in Lyons’ 34-31 overtime win over Glenbrook South in the Class 8A playoffs.

  • Chris Streveler, Marian Central QB: Streveler threw for 198 yards and three touchdowns and rushed for 185 yards and two touchdowns in the Hurricanes’ 55-39 win over Tinley Park in Class 5A.

  • Matt Randolph, Naperville Central RB: Randolph rushed for 200 yards and two touchdowns on 16 carries in Naperville Central’s win over Belleville East in Class 8A.

  • Direll Clark, Lakes, RB: Clark ran for 210 yards and three touchdowns on 17 carries in Lakes’ win over Grant in the Class 6A playoffs.

    Here are five players who stood out during Week 8 and received our weekly ESPNChicago.com helmet stickers.

  • Ty Isaac, Joliet Catholic RB: Isaac rushed for 22.9 yards per carry against St. Patrick. He ran for 183 yards and four touchdowns on eight carries in his team’s win.

  • Adolfo Pacheco, South Elgin RB: Pacheco rushed for a school-record 318 yards and four touchdowns on 27 carries in South Elgin’s 36-21 upset of Geneva.

  • Joel Valdiva, Grayslake Central RB: Valdiva was unstoppable against Grayslake North, rushing for 365 yards and six touchdowns on 35 carries in his team’s win.

  • Ian Woodworth, Marist QB: Woodworth had a memorable day in what was a memorable game. He was 33-of-51 passing for 452 yards and eight touchdowns in Marist’s 64-63 double-overtime win over Carmel.

  • Matt Randolph, Naperville Central RB: Randolph rushed for 253 yards and five touchdowns in his team’s 36-26 win over Naperville North.
