CHICAGO -- Here’s a quick look at the Chicago White Sox's 12-6 win over the Cleveland Indians on Sunday at U.S. Cellular Field.

How it happened: Paul Konerko extended his hitting streak to 13 games, Gordon Beckham had his first four-hit game of the season, Alexei Ramirez collected three hits and the Sox continued their winning ways by sweeping their division foe. While the White Sox maintained their offensive prowess, starting pitcher Gavin Floyd struggled with his command in his third straight rough outing. Floyd threw five-plus innings on Sunday, allowed five runs on 10 hits and hit three batters despite earning the win. He’s allowed 28 hits and 21 runs in his last three starts combined. The White Sox got off to another strong start, loading the bases and taking a 3-0 lead in the first thanks in part to Konerko’s RBI fielder’s choice to center. Konerko extended his hitting streak in the fourth with a three-run home run to left field, his 400th homer in a White Sox uniform.

What it means: The White Sox are on a season-high five-game win streak and are now a half game behind the Indians in the Central Division standings. The Sox are 8-4 against Cleveland this season.

Outside the box: The White Sox’s batters continued their tear. According to the Elias Sports Bureau, the Sox have now scored nine runs or more in four straight games for the first time since June 27-30, 1938.
