CHICAGO -- Chicago White Sox pitcher Jake Peavy has received some hard luck in his last three starts.

Peavy allowed one earned run against the St. Louis Cardinals on June 13, two earned runs against the Toronto Blue Jays on June 7 and two earned runs against the Seattle Mariners on June 1, and he came away with one loss and two no-decisions.

Peavy hopes for better when he returns to the mound to face the Chicago Cubs on Tuesday. Peavy allowed three hits and no runs against the Cubs in a 6-0 win at Wrigley Field on May 20.

Here’s the White Sox’s lineup against the Cubs left-hander Travis Wood (0-3, 4.58) on Tuesday:

1. Alejandro De Aza, CF
2. Gordon Beckham, 2B
3. Adam Dunn, DH
4. Paul Konerko, 1B
5. Alex Rios, RF
6. Dayan Viciedo, LF
7. Alexei Ramirez, SS
8. Tyler Flowers, C
9. Orlando Hudson, 3B
