A quick look at the Chicago White Sox's 4-0 loss to the New York Yankees on Saturday at Yankee Stadium.

How it happened: Jake Peavy scattered eight hits over eight innings, allowing four runs -- three of them solo homers, in a loss to the Yankees. Peavy struck out 11 while not walking a batter. Curtis Granderson, Dewayne Wise and Robinson Cano homered for the Yankees. The White Sox managed just three hits against Yankees starter Hiroki Kuroda, two of which came in the first inning.

What it means: The White Sox failed to strip the Yankees of baseball’s best road and their four-game winning streak came to an end.

Outside the box: Despite three home runs on Saturday, the Yankees still trail the White Sox in that category in this series, 6-5. The Yankees have homered in ten straight games and lead the majors with 122.

Up next: The Sox and Yankees face off in the finale of the four-game series on Sunday at 1:05 CT. Probable starters are Gavin Floyd (6-7, 4.80 ERA) for the Sox and Phil Hughes (8-6, 4.48 ERA) for the Yankees.
