Lineup: Sox-Yanks is power vs. power

CHICAGO -- The New York Yankees' lineup is unquestionably at another power level than the rest of baseball.

The Yankees have homered 190 times this season. That’s 29 more than the next team and 113 more than the 30th-ranked team.

While the Yankees aren’t in jeopardy of losing their overall power title, there has been one team steadily gaining ground in the home run category -- the Chicago White Sox.

In August, the White Sox have led the majors with 35 home runs. In just the last 11 games, they’ve hit 24 of them. The White Sox are now tied with the Toronto Blue Jays for second in the majors with 161 home runs.

On Monday, the White Sox hit four home runs to the Yankees’ two. On Tuesday, the two power heavyweights will go at it again.

Here’s the White Sox’s lineup against the Yankees on Tuesday:

1. Dewayne Wise, CF

2. Kevin Youkilis, 3B

3. Adam Dunn, DH

4. Paul Konerko, 1B

5. Alex Rios, RF
