CHICAGO -- Here’s a quick look at the Chicago White Sox’s 4-3 win over the Seattle Mariners at U.S. Cellular Field on Sunday. The game was called in the seventh inning due to rain.

How it happened: The White Sox won their sixth consecutive game after pulling off another comeback on Sunday. The White Sox were trailing 3-2 in the seventh inning when Tyler Flowers hit a two-run homer to put them ahead. It was the third consecutive game the White Sox overcame a deficit in the sixth inning or later to defeat the Mariners. White Sox starter Gavin Floyd left the game after two innings due to elbow discomfort. He allowed one run and was replaced by Hector Santiago, who gave up two runs in four innings. Casper Wells hit a two-run home run for the Mariners. Jordan Danks and Kevin Youkilis also had RBIs for the White Sox.

What it means: The White Sox remained 2 games ahead of the Detroit Tigers in the American League Central. The Tigers defeated the Los Angeles Angels 5-2 on Sunday.

Outside the box: Alex Rios became the third player in White Sox’s history Sunday to have at least 30 doubles, 20 home runs and 20 stolen bases in a single season. He joined Ray Durham and Magglio Ordonez. They both accomplished the feat in 2001.

Up next: The White Sox open a four-game series in Baltimore on Monday. Francisco Liriano (5-10, 5.12) will start for the White Sox on Monday, and Wei-Yin Chen (12-7, 3.87) will start for the Orioles.
