White Sox look to keep offense rolling

CHICAGO -- The Chicago White Sox haven’t had trouble hitting this season, but doubles have eluded them most of the year.

Before Tuesday’s game, the White Sox were last in baseball with 186 doubles. On Tuesday, they hit a franchise-high 10 doubles and still only moved into 29th place with just two more than the Seattle Mariners. Eight players hit doubles for the White Sox in Tuesday’s 18-9 loss to the Minnesota Twins.

In the other categories, the White Sox are 15th with 1,184 overall hits, 11th with 26 triples and third with 173 home runs.
