CHICAGO – Chicago White Sox left-hander Hector Santiago makes his second career start Sunday against the Kansas City Royals. Santiago won his first career start on Monday against Minnesota, giving up just one run on three hits over five innings.

“We’re not asking him to go nine,” manager Robin Ventura said. “If he gets gets his five we’ll look at six. Five is probably a good number you want him to get to. But he’s done a lot of different things for us this year.”

Adam Dunn remains sidelined with a strained oblique while Kevin Youkilis is still back home with his newborn son. Here’s today’s lineup:

1. Alejandro De Aza, CF
2. Ray Olmedo, SS
3. Dewayne Wise, LF
4. Paul Konerko, 1B
5. Alex Rios, RF
6. A.J. Pierzynski, C
7. Dayan Viciedo, DH
8. Jose Lopez, 3B
9. Gordon Beckham, 2B
