If you had to pick between Alex Rios and Alejandro De Aza, who would you select?

Chicago White Sox fans without an affiliation to the two teams in Tuesday night’s World Baseball Classic championship game will get to choose between their team's outfielders. The final pits Rios’ Puerto Rico team against De Aza’s Dominican Republic club.

White struggling through the tournament, Rios was still able to deliver what was most likely the biggest blow for Puerto Rico. His late-inning two-run home run against Japan in Sunday’s semifinal game was the difference in Puerto Rico’s victory.

Rios had two hits in the semifinal game, but it still only gave him seven for the tournament and .192 batting average. But when looking at runs, Rios’ tournament has a much better feel to it. Not only has he driven in two, he has scored seven times.

De Aza was a later addition to the Dmoinican Republic roster. He has appeared in all seven of his team’s games, but has batted just .190 (4-for-21) with three RBIs but no runs scored. He has struck out six times.

One of the White Sox outfielders will return to camp in Arizona this week with a spring in his step after becoming a WBC champion. It is the third time the tournament has been contested and will be the first time that Japan hasn’t won it all.

The championship game starts at 7 p.m. CST and can be seen on MLB Network and ESPN Deportes.
