CHICAGO – The Chicago White Sox made an under-the-radar move Sunday, trading minor-league infielder Drew Garcia to the Colorado Rockies organization for a player to be named later.

Garcia was batting just .222 (16-for-72) in 24 games at Triple-A Charlotte. It is his second season at the Triple-A level after batting .234 with five home runs and 49 RBIs for the Knights last year.

The 27-year-old California native was a 21st-round pick in the 2008 draft out of UC Riverside.
