Dave Wilder nets 2-year sentence

CHICAGO -- Former Chicago White Sox senior director of player personnel David Wilder was sentenced Wednesday to two years in prison, according to multiple reports.

Wilder was involved in a kickback scheme to bilk an estimated $440,000 from Latin American baseball players who were signed by the White Sox over a period of four years. A reported 23 players were involved in the kickbacks, which took place between 2004 and 2008.
