Here's a quick look at the Chicago White Sox's 3-1 loss to the Cleveland Indians on Friday:

How it happened: A day after losing the series opener 14-3, the White Sox managed just one run in Game 2 when Paul Konerko drove in Marcus Semien with an RBI single in the fifth inning to tie the game. But the Indians answered in the bottom half of the inning with two runs on an RBI double by Ryan Raburn and a sacrifice fly from Michael Brantley. Six Indians relievers made the lead hold up with Chris Perez notching his 24th save.

What it means: The Indians handed the White Sox their fourth straight loss and dropped them to 2-11 in the month of September.

What's next: The series continues at 6:10 p.m. CT Saturday when the Sox's Andre Rienzo (2-1, 4.50) will be opposed by Ubaldo Jimenez (11-9, 3.62).
