CHICAGO -- A quick look at the Chicago White Sox's 6-4 win over the Detroit Tigers on Friday at U.S. Cellular Field.
The good: The White Sox flashed some power as Carlos Quentin, Brent Lillibridge, and Juan Pierre each homered. It was Lillibridge's seventh homer on the season in just 69 at-bats. Pierre has two home runs in a White Sox uniform, both have come against the Tigers.
The bad: Despite scoring six runs, the White Sox went 2-for-12 with runners in scoring position and left 10 men on base.
Beyond the box score: Adam Dunn ended an 0-for-40 stretch against lefties as he legged out an infield single against Tigers' reliever Charlie Furbush.
Up next: Edwin Jackson (4-4, 4.63 ERA) goes against Tigers ace Justin Verlander (5-3, 3.12) as the White Sox go for their fifth win in a row at 6:10 at U.S. Cellular Field.
