Adam Dunn won’t be a spectator for the White Sox's entire series at Arizona.

Because the designated hitter isn’t used in National League parks, Dunn has begun the first two games of the interleague series in the desert on the bench.

Manager Ozzie Guillen confirmed before Saturday’s game, though, that Dunn will start at first base on Sunday while Paul Konerko gets a day off.

Dunn had shown signs of life before the series at Arizona began. He was 5-for-17 (.294) over his past six games with a double, two home runs and six RBIs.
