Cold temps spur free ticket offer

By Doug Padilla

CHICAGO – For those fans freezing their extremities at Thursday’s Chicago White Sox-Minnesota Twins game, the home team is giving you a chance to do it all over again.

Because of the cold, blustery temperatures, the White Sox announced that any fan with a ticket for Thursday’s game (used or unused) can redeem it for another game in April.

The ticket stub, or unused ticket, can be redeemed at the U.S. Cellular Field box office for a lower box, lower corner, outfield reserved, bleacher, upper box, upper reserved or upper corner game ticket in April. The stadium box office is open seven days a week.

The White Sox have home games remaining this month with the Cleveland Indians, Boston Red Sox, Tampa Bay Rays and Detroit Tigers.
