Free agent outfielder Jorge Soler worked out for several major league teams in South Florida on Wednesday, according to multiple sources.

The Chicago White Sox , Chicago Cubs, New York Yankees andMiami Marlins are expected to be the highest bidders for the 19-year-old Cuban outfielder.

Florida Marlins manager Ozzie Guillen's contract for 2012 will be $250,000 less than the amount he would have made managing the Chicago White Sox next season. Guillen will make $10 million over the life of his four-year deal (for an annual base of $2.5 million) to lead newly-named Miami Marlins, Major League sources told ESPNChicago.com.

MIAMI -- Ozzie Guillen is expected to be introduced as the Florida Marlins' manager at a news conference before their final game of the year.

The team scheduled a news conference for Wednesday afternoon before their last game in the stadium where they've played since their first season in 1993. A source told ESPNChicago.com's Bruce Levine that Guillen will receive a four-year deal with the Marlins.

CHICAGO -- Several members of the Chicago White Sox were upset with the Florida Marlins for stealing a base with a 7-0 lead in the fourth inning of the Marlins' 13-0 victory on Sunday.

Plate umpire Adrian Johnson issued warnings to both teams after A.J. Pierzynski was hit in the right forearm by Marlins reliever Dan Meyer in the seventh. In the fifth inning, White Sox reliever Randy Williams hit Brett Carroll with a pitch after Carroll stole second with a 7-0 lead.
