The Chicago Blackhawks lead the Minnesota Wild 1-0 after two periods at the United Center.

The Hawks have been outplayed for most of the game despite holding a slim lead. They did grab the momentum late in the period.

They had eight unanswered minutes of power-play time in the second, including six consecutive, but couldn’t get a goal. The Hawks have 28 shots on net to the Wilds' 25. Most of the Hawks 18 second-period shots on goal came late, during five-on-five play.

Corey Crawford has been excellent in goal, stopping 17 in the first period and eight more in the second. The Hawks lone goal came back in the first period, a Brian Campbell power-play tally.
