Seabrook said the event is a way from him to give back to the community.
“I just wanted to donate some sticks and equipment and ended up doing this,” Seabrook said after practice Friday. “Its been great. They do a great job with it. It’s a fun event for kids, especially.”
All proceeds from the event benefit the scholarships that the ICE Program provides to underprivileged, Chicago-area, student-hockey players.
Fans can bowl and meet players by reserving lanes. More information can be found at www.innercityeducation.org.
