CHICAGO -- The 20,000-plus fans at the United Center were treated to some history Thursday night.
After nine straight power plays without a shot -- not a goal, a shot -- defenseman Johnny Oduya had the moxie to take a shot around the blue line at the end of the Hawks' first power play during the first period to break the ignominious streak.
The Blackhawks look to be on solid ground as the playoffs approach.
