How it happened: Nate Robinson had 21 points, five assists and five rebounds, but he made several poor plays down the stretch that cost the Bulls. Carlos Boozer chipped in with 13 points and 15 rebounds while Luol Deng added 19 points and 10 rebounds, but it wasn't enough. James Harden led the Rockets with 28 points. Former Bull Omer Asik only had four points and six rebounds, but it was his block on Joakim Noah that iced the game. The Bulls wanted this one badly as they get set to come home for Thanksgiving, but they couldn't make enough plays down the stretch to get it.
What it means: This is the first time in the Tom Thibodeau era that the Bulls have lost three straight regular-season games. The Bulls couldn't make the plays down the stretch to pull this one out. Despite the fact that they forced 23 turnovers from the Rockets, they still couldn't find a way to win because their offensive execution was poor in long stretches. It's an ongoing problem for a Bulls team that just doesn't seem to have any answers right now. Thibodeau has a lot of work to do to get his team back on track.
Hits: Noah had 11 points, seven rebounds and four assists. He played 40 minutes, all 24 in the first half.
Misses: Richard Hamilton was 2-for-10 on the night and played just 17 minutes.
Stat of the night: The Bulls were 2-for-16 from beyond the arc.
What's next: The Bulls take on the Milwaukee Bucks on Saturday night.
