The Bulls, who had the best regular-season winning percentage the past two seasons, have an average ticket price of $71.90, which is a 5.2 percent increase from last season, according to the annual Team Marketing Report Fan Cost Index.
The NBA average ticket is up 3.5 percent to $50.99.
Team Marketing Report does not include premium or club tickets in its formula for average ticket prices.
The survey, which examines the costs for a family of four to go to a major sporting event, lists the Bulls as having the fourth-highest FCI at $426.60, an 8.3 percent increase. The NBA average is up 4.4 percent to $315.66.
The Fan Cost Index price comprises the price of four average-price tickets, two small beers, four small soft drinks, four hot dogs, parking for one car, two game programs and two least-expensive, adult-size hats.
The Knicks lead the NBA in average ticket price at $123.22, a 4.9 percent increase, and FCI price at $643.78.
According to TMR research, fourteen teams had increased average ticket prices this season, compared to 10 last season, which began with a lockout. Eight teams showed decreases, compared to 13 last season.
The Brooklyn Nets had the biggest increase after moving from their temporary home in Newark, N.J., to the brand-new Barclays Center. The Nets’ average ticket is 55.89, a 50.8 percent increase from their last season at the Prudential Center.
