AUBURN HILLS, Mich. -- Let's take a quick look at how the Chicago Bulls pulled out a 108-104 win over the Detroit Pistons on Friday night at The Palace of Auburn Hills.

How it happened: Joakim Noah played one of the best games of his career, scoring a career-high 30 points, grabbing a career-high 23 rebounds and dishing out six assists. Carlos Boozer added 24 points and six rebounds while Luol Deng poured in 16 points, six assists and five rebounds.

What it means: Noah dominated this game from start to finish. He was the difference-maker for the Bulls and provided Tom Thibodeau's team with energy throughout the night. After playing poorly in the first half, the Bulls bounced back and turned things around in large part because of Noah's presence. His teammates fed off his play and closed the game late. Noah has to be proud of his performance.

Hits: Kirk Hinrich had a solid outing, going off for 13 points, six assists and three rebounds.

Misses: Nate Robinson was 1-for-8 on the night.

Stats of the night: Aside from Noah's stats, the Bulls have now won 16 consecutive games against the Pistons. The Bulls outscored the Pistons 58-38 in the paint.

What's next: The Bulls are right back at it Saturday night when they take on the New York Knicks. It will be interesting to see how the Bulls bounce back on Saturday given that almost every starter played close to 40 minutes, if not more. It will mark the Bulls' fourth game in five nights.
