CHICAGO -- Chicago Bulls forward Luol Deng will miss his third straight game on Wednesday against the Detroit Pistons because of a right hamstring injury.

Bulls swingman Jimmy Butler will make his third career start in Deng's place.

Deng initially injured the hamstring last Wednesday night in the first quarter of a game against the Toronto Raptors but ended up playing almost 48 minutes and knocking down the game-winner in overtime. He re-injured the hamstring in the third quarter of Friday night's game against the Boston Celtics and was held out of a loss to the Memphis Grizzlies on Saturday and a win over the Los Angeles Lakers on Monday.
