CHICAGO -- Here's a quick look at how the Chicago Bulls earned a 93-82 win over the Philadelphia 76ers on Thursday at the United Center:

How it happened: Joakim Noah had one of the best games of his career, racking up his third career triple-double with 23 points, 21 rebounds and 11 blocks to go along with three steals. Carlos Boozer had another big game, scoring 21 points with 12 rebounds. Jrue Holiday led the Sixers with 22 points.

What it means: As has so often been the case in his five years in Chicago, Noah has the ability to play with the type of energy that his teammates all feed off of. He knew he didn't play well in Tuesday's loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers and wanted to make up for it. He was everywhere on both ends of the floor and played with the type of edge that Tom Thibodeau has been seeking despite continued problems with plantar fasciitis in his foot.

Hits: Led by Noah, the Bulls outscored the Sixers 38-30 in the paint.

Misses: Nate Robinson, Kirk Hinrich and Marco Belinelli combined to go 11-for-36 from the field.

Stat of the night: Noah's 11 blocks ties a franchise record for blocks in a regulation game.

What's next: The Bulls take on the Brooklyn Nets at 7 p.m. CT Saturday at the United Center.
