CHICAGO -- The Chicago Bulls' Joakim Noah (plantar fasciitis) and Marco Belinelli (ab strain) will not play Sunday night against the Detroit Pistons. This will be the fifth straight game Noah has missed and the fourth straight for Belinelli.

"(They're) day to day," Thibodeau said. "A little bit better today. We'll see where they are (Monday)."

Derrick Rose (torn ACL) and Rip Hamilton (lower back) also will not play.

As far as Noah's injury, Thibodeau wants to make sure his center is as healthy as possible before the playoffs begin.

"I think the big thing is you don't want him to come back until he's healthy,” Thibodeau said. “And the fact is that (Nazr Mohammed is) playing well, and more importantly the team is playing well. So whoever is being called upon, be ready, go out there and get the job done. Nazr's done a terrific job for us."
