How it happened: Joakim Noah continued his All-Star level play racking up a triple double: 19 points, 16 rebounds and 11 assists. Taj Gibson had 24 points, 12 rebounds and five assists for a Bulls squad that dominated most of the night. Paul Millsap led the Hawks with 15 points, but it wasn't enough for an Atlanta team that dug too big of a hole to get out of in the first half.
What it means: The difference in Noah's game over this season is his consistency. He always had the talent to perform at the level he has been playing at recently, but nobody was ever sure what kind of performance he would give night to night. Things are different now -- it's rare that Noah has an off-night, because every time he takes the floor he is the Bulls' best all-around player. He is responsible for a lot of different things offensively and defensively and is taking pride in the fact that he is being asked to do more than ever on the court.
Hits: Jimmy Butler had a solid outing with 12 points and 13 rebounds.
Misses: The Bulls turned the ball over 16 times.
Stat of the night: The Bulls outrebounded the Hawks 57-28
What's next: The Bulls take on the Brooklyn Nets on Thursday night.
