DALLAS -- Derrick Rose will not be defending his title in the Skills Competition on Saturday night. The Bulls point guard, who suffered a hip bruise on Wednesday night against the Magic will be replaced by Oklahoma City point guard, and good friend, Russell Westbrook.

The news doesn't exactly come as a surprise. Rose is still receiving treatment for the hip bruise and has clearly been focusing in on getting ready for Sunday night's All Star Game. He said earlier in the day that he was "100 percent" certain he would play in the game.
