Nazr MohammedJeff Hanisch/USA TODAY SportsNazr Mohammed averaged just seven minutes a game for the Bulls in his 15th NBA season.

Nazr Mohammed

2013-14 salary: $884,293 | Age: 36 | Season stats: 1.6 ppg, 2.2 reb

Season recap: Mohammed played the same role he did last season -- as little used backup center. Tom Thibodeau used him sparingly throughout the year, but Mohammed stayed ready for whenever his name was called. He was respected by his coaches for his professionalism.

Season highlight: Mohammed scored 9 points and pulled down five rebounds in a Jan. 27 loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Season lowlight: Mohammed played just five minutes combined in the Bulls' playoff series against the Washington Wizards.

Final grade: C-

Notes: Mohammed always treated his peers and the media with respect. Having played in the league for 15 years, he always knew how to handle himself in different situations and was usually one of the first guys in the gym on the road warming up.

Quotable: "Fight. The thing is the ball was in the air, you've got to it. If you allow them to hit you first you're reacting to them. When the ball's in the air you've got to go after it, you've got to fight and we've got to do it as a team. That's the way we rebound. Every aspect of what we do is five men working together." -- Thibodeau describing the attitude he wants his big men to have while going after rebounds.

What's next?: Mohammed recently tweeted that he would like to play a couple more seasons in the NBA, but it seems like a safe bet his time in Chicago has ended. Thibodeau didn't use him much this season. The Bulls will likely go younger with a prospect in the draft.
