In a Tuesday appearance on "The Waddle & Silvy Show" on ESPN 1000, the Bulls coach defended his decision to start Bogans, who averages 3.5 points a game and is shooting 36 percent from the floor.
"I like the way it's worked with Ronnie coming off the bench," Thibodeau said. "And Keith has done a good job guarding some primary scorers. That's his role. I have a lot of confidence in our bench. When one guys goes out the next guy steps in, and he's got the responsibility to get the job done. I have a lot of confidence in all 13 guys on our team. We'll see how the season unfolds."
Brewer, who, like Bogans, was signed as a free agent over the summer, is averaging 6.6 points in 23 minutes a game.
